Wellington Chamber of Commerce uses our partner Business Central to provide training courses. Wellington Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to cancel or arrange an alternative date for a course from time to time. Course times, venues, learning content and facilitators are also occasionally subject to change.

Wellington Chamber of Commerce will make every effort to inform you of these changes prior to the commencement of the course and we will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible.

In the event of cancellation, the client will be entitled to a full refund of the course fee, but Wellington Chamber of Commerce shall not be liable for any other loss or expense arising from the cancellation.

Should a course or programme fail to attract a minimum number of participants, Wellington Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to cancel the course or programme.

Cancellation and Transfer Policies for Public Training Courses:

Registration and Payment:

  • Wellington Chamber of Commerce will confirm all registrations and arrangements before the course commences.
  • Course fees are due for payment on or before the date specified on the invoice.

Substitution of Participants:

  • Substitution of participants is permitted at any stage and will not incur a fee.

Transfer Requests:

  • Transfer requests received at least ten business days prior to the course delivery will incur no fee.
  • Transfer requests received between 5 and 9 business days prior to the course delivery will incur an additional  $250 +GST transfer charge.

Cancellation Requests:

  • Cancellation requests received at least 16 business days prior to the course delivery will incur a $150 +GST cancellation fee. This means you will receive a refund of the amount paid for your course minus $150 +GST.
  • Cancellations received less than 15 business days prior to the course delivery will not be entitled to a refund. This means you will not receive any of the course fee back if you choose to cancel.

Non-Attendance:

  • Failure to attend any course will result in the full fee being incurred with no refund.

Note: Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.

Inhouse training courses and programmes

Course fees are due for payment on or before the date of payment noted on the invoice. If an Inhouse training programme that has been confirmed is transferred to another date or cancelled, any costs already incurred must be reimbursed in full. This may include facilitators’ flights and accommodation, development, and customisation costs of course material.
