Beehive to Business with Hon. David Seymour

Join us on Tuesday, 19 November at our next Beehive to Business event for 2024, with Hon. David Seymour, Minister for Regulation, Leader of the ACT Party, and Deputy Prime Minister from May 2025.

Minister Seymour is responsible for the Ministry for Regulation, a new agency tasked with making business easier by removing and reducing regulatory red tape. The reforms are taking place sector by sector, with reviews of agriculture and horticultural products and early childhood education already underway.

As leader of the ACT Party, Minister Seymour holds a key position in Cabinet and is responsible for a number of Government policies in the coalition agreement between National and ACT. These include reforms of Pharmac, foreign investment, immigration, resource management and employment law. Minister Seymour also holds associate portfolios in Education, Justice, Finance and Health. He will take over as Deputy Prime Minister in May 2025.
